Vitra's Panton Chair is a classic in the history of furniture. Created by Verner Panton in 1960, it was perfected by the designer in collaboration with Vitra before finally being mass-produced in 1967. The Panton Chair was the first plastic chair, molded in one piece. Since its commercialization, the Panton Chair has gone through several stages of production. The material currently used has made it possible to make the original version of a worn-resistant tinted plastic seat with a matte surface.
