Pair of revised Gauer French speakers - 70s

Beautiful and rare pair of GAUER brand speakers (for connoisseurs ...) designed by the Sté CABLIM in Bergerac (24) in the 70s. This small French company that manufactured electronic boards mainly for Ericsson disappeared at the end of the 70s after leaving a few rare copies of speakers extremely well developed by its engineers. Very neat cabinetry crates and French speakers AUDAX and SIARE.

Externally they are in good condition, the trunk has stripes of use. Some flashes around the speakers following a complicated disassembly.
Internally, the filters have been redone and the tweeters are new, replaced identically. The boomers are in perfect condition.

And to the ear, it's a treat. very detailed treble and surprisingly deep bass without being "drooly" (these are closed loads, which allows clear and frank bass).

In short, small jewels made in Bergerac :-)

Dimensions: 60x32x28
Weight: Approx. 15kg per speaker

Power: about 50W RMS (there is no documentation on this model)

to recover on Bordeaux.
